This is delicious bread with wholesome ingredients.  My family love it for breakfast.

Ingredients:

1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup flax seed
2 TBS brown sugar

1 cup traditional oats
1/2 cup raisins

1/4 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup canola oil
1 1/4 cup grated carrot (2 medium carrots)
1 1/4 cup chunky or smooth apple sauce (2 1/2 medium apples)

Preparation:

Mix all the dry ingredients but oats and raisins.
Add yogurt, oil and apples sauce, and mix well.

Add carrots and mix.
Add oats and raisins and combine them all well.
Spoon batter on a greased 9 inch square pan.
Bake at 350F for 35 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out clean when inserted in the middle of the bread.
