
his bread has beautiful molasses flavor and very moist texture. It is always my family’s favorite for breakfast or snack, and it is easy to cook in a slow cooker.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups white whole wheat flour
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup cornmeal
1 tsp baking soda
some salt
2 TBS brown sugar
3/4 cup molasses
1 cup milk
1 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup canola oil
1 cup raisins.

Preparation:
Mix all the dry ingredients and whisk.
Add wet ingredients and raisins and mix well. Sprays a Pyrex or glass container (8x5x4 inches) with oil and pour the batter into the container and cover it with foil.
Put 2 1/2 cups of boiling water into a slower cooker.
Place the bowl in the slow cooker and steam for 3 hours at a high heat setting.
